ey hey just noticed that today is start of ghost festival ??? cause all my neighbours is burning the joss papers...
do u believe that there is ghost festival ? so other days of the year there are no ghosts on normal days ? haha come on man ....come to think about it man..uou think onces u let the ghosts out u think they will go back ?? haha ok ghost festival is a practise of the chineses form the past and its not a practise of buddhism...
Chineses are kaisu and greedy and fearful, they bai bai to the ghost so pray that they dont harm them ???? o man ! and also Pray them for good health and money ?? u think back its really being too supertitous man...amd the food and o my GOD.....people believe ghost eats candles ?? ...what a belief ? from tv ?? went for a talk last time the veranables(monk) when they came to Singapore and see ppl burning joss papers and they approaches to the people and asked what are they doing...they replied its for the ghosts...the venerables was quite shocked....the correct ways to help the deads its to do goods deeds and dedicate the good merits to them throught prayers or something like that....: ) there are alot of misconceptions of buddhism man : ) kinda of sad man ! of people have really alot of misconceptions of buddhiam man : )
